Sydney Holly

Namaste! My name is Sydney Holly. Yoga came into my life as a transition from dancing in New York City. I responded to this new form of movement right away. I knew I had found my path. I went on to receive my 500 RYT from Yoga Works NYC and I’ve been teaching since 2001. Prior to that, I got my BFA in dance from the University of Illinois. My teaching style is dynamic. I incorporate the alignment, pranayama and philosophy of Yogi Raj Alan Finger’s Ishta System with the flowing movement of Vinyasa. My students know me for my elegant sequencing and ability to break down postures into their essential elements. I believe in developing a body that can perform at its maximum efficiency. I encourage my students to explore their perceived limitations. A thoughtful yoga practice can bring clarity, harmony, and inspiration to your life by allowing you to live your fullest potential. I’m also a proud mama of 5 big boys. In my free time, I love to travel and read about fashion.
